VOICE OF THE PERSECUTED

john 16-33

As the world continues to turn it’s back on the persecuted Church and the nations whittle away at the rights of Christians, we are reminded of the words of Christ. He tells us the reason for persecution, warns the future Church of impending persecution, encourages the Church, and tells them how to overcome.

John 15:15-25 (NIV)
The Vine and the Branches
15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.
